I was extremely late purchasing the latest MAC x Nicki Minaj lipstick collection, and honestly I wasn’t quite sure if I wanted to. There was tons of mixed reviews and I decided to purchase last minute since they were on sale. I have yet to try them out, but as soon as I do I will give you all an update with pictures.

I believe I repurchased MAC’s Velvet Teddy at least 3 times last year. I’m a creature of habit and this has been a favorite of mine for the past 4 years, but I’m thinking going through 2-3 tubes of lipstick is a bit excessive… especially since that’s not the only lipstick I wore this year. I know a bunch of you have been asking what my favorite lipstick is and this is deff one of them ( I will post a video early this year sharing all my favorite nude combos ).
First let me start off by saying how much I adore Rihanna, and when I found out she was launching a beauty line; I was ecstatic. 40 different foundation shades right off the bat is unheard of!!!
I’m not one who orders foundations online, unless I know it’s my shade so I went in testing different shades and was a bit heartbroken that my perfect shade didn’t exist.
I first tested out 300, it was too dark and yellow for my skin and 290 was too light for my liking ( I also tried out 3 additional shades ). I know what you’re thinking, why not mix shades? I wasn’t trying the spend $70 to get my shade and the foundation is not full coverage, it’s more along the lines of medium ( If you don’t know, I prefer full coverage foundations ). Don’t get me wrong, the foundation is absolutely beautiful and if your shade exists I think you should try it out. It makes your skin look so healthy and if you get a little oily, blotting your face will make it look as if you freshly applied it on, instead of the foundation separating and your skin won’t look blotchy.
Aside from the foundation, I skipped out on a bunch of products because I wasn’t trying to spend unneccessary money. I did however pick up ‘Trophy Wife’ and oh my GOD.
This highlighter is on a whole other level of blinding, it has glitter in it, so if you’re not a fan of that then I would pass on wearing it as a highlight but it’s beautiful as an eyeshadow and to pop in your inner corners.
I don’t normally sign up for monthly subscriptions, but when I saw what was in December’s Beauty Box and finding out that the first box is only $10 and additional boxes are $15, I knew it was worth getting. In this box I received a deluxe sample of Becca’s X Jaclyn Hill Champagne Pop ( which is one of my favorite highlighters ), a deluxe sample of the Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer, Morphe Pro M433 Firm Blending Fluff Brush, a deluxe sample of the Dior Diorshow Mascara, a deluxe sample of the Oribe Matte Waves Texture Lotion , and a small bottle of the Philosophy Purity Made Simple One-Step Facial Cleanser.
Overall, I was extremely pleased with last months box.

For the past few years, we have been making time to attend Art Basel and this year was a little tight on timing, but we managed to make it down for a day. It’s just one of those events to attend if you really enjoy and appreciate art.

Happy New Years everyone! My wish for you all is health, positivity, happiness, growth and success.
Halloween is one of my favorite times of the year, but it’s also the busiest time of the year for us ( we throw an event and time always gets away from us ) and it’s always so hard to post makeup videos/pictures.
For the past 5 years, I’ve wanted to do a recreation of Morticia Rabbit ( I saw a cartoon picture and knew I had to do it ) but I never had enough time. I found a dress that was close to perfect for this 4 years ago from Giti, and finally found some time to attempt this.
